Thirty years after the defeat of the Galactic Empire, a new threat rises in the form of the First Order, a dark military faction led by the mysterious Supreme Leader Snoke and the powerful Kylo Ren. The First Order seeks to rule the galaxy and eliminate the Resistance, a brave defense force led by General Leia Organa.

The story follows Rey, a resilient scavenger from the desert planet Jakku, and Finn, a defecting Stormtrooper who abandons the First Order after witnessing its brutality. Their lives intersect when they encounter BB-8, a droid carrying a top-secret map that leads to the whereabouts of the long-lost Jedi Master, Luke Skywalker.

Joined by legendary smuggler Han Solo and Chewbacca, the unlikely heroes must navigate a dangerous journey to deliver the map to the Resistance. The conflict culminates in a desperate mission to destroy the Starkiller Base, a planet-killing superweapon, while Rey discovers a powerful connection to the Force that will change the fate of the galaxy forever.
